Parking Munich Airport – Types of Parking
There are a lot of different options to choose from when looking for München Airport parking. Depending on how you’re travelling and your personal preferences, some options will be more suitable than others. The main options for you to choose from are Park and Ride, Meet and Greet and Park and Walk. The services are available for all terminals and will usually either be provided by an off-site company or by the airport itself. To help make your decision simpler for you, we’ve written up a short guide on the different services available for MUC parking.
Park and Ride Services
Park and Ride offers good value whilst still being reasonably convenient and useful for those who are travelling with luggage. You park your car in the car park before catching a shuttle bus to your terminal. You may have to wait a few minutes for the bus to arrive and drop you off but they’re regularly scheduled and this is one of the best value services available. As one of the cheaper options this is a great service for those looking for long term parking Munich Airport. For the Park and Ride service, there are only off-site options.
Off-site Parking Services
- Parkservice Sky are open between 03:30 and 00:30 every day. The car park is around 10 minutes away from the airport.
- Airparks Munchen the shuttle service is available each day from 04:00 to 23:50. The journey to the airport from the car park takes around 5 minutes.
- Parkservice APM located around 7 minutes from the airport, the car park is open and available for your car every day between 04:00 and 00:30.
Meet and Greet Services
For the most convenient way to use airport parking Munich, consider a Meet and Greet service. Rather than searching for a car park far from the terminal, you simply drop your car off with trained staff. From there you just have to walk to the terminal whilst your car is parked for you. It tends to be more expensive than some of the other options, but you are paying for the added convenience. Again the Meet and Greet services are only provided by off-site companies.
Off-site Parking Services
- Airparks Munich are available every day from 04:00 to 23:50. Your car will be stored safely for you until your return.
- Park and Go pick your car up from you at the agreed upon drop off location. From here you can walk in to catch your flight whilst your car is parked for you.
Park and Walk Services
Rather than having to wait for a shuttle bus, Park and Walk car parks are located right by the airport, allowing you to walk straight in. The added convenience means that this Munich Airport car parking option is more expensive than others. Your car will be stored safely in the official airport car parks whilst you’re away.
Official Parking Services
- P1, P2 and P3 Multi-storey car parking are right outside Terminal 1. There are free e-charging stations outside P3.
- P5, P7, P8 are located close to Terminal 1, meaning you can walk straight to catch your flight.
- P20 and P26 are close to Terminal 2. Electric vehicles can be charged free at P20.
