They usually offer the shuttle rides for free to and from the airport. Cardiff Airport Long Stay Parking is an excellent choice for those looking to find the best value for money while staying in the airport’s official parking lots. With such a short distance to walk to the terminal, there is no need for a shuttle. At just £50.99 per week, this parking lot provides you with a secure option close to the airport terminal.
Convenient for those making a short trip, or visiting the airport, Short Stay Parking is the most expensive option for parking at Cardiff Airport. However, it is only a 2 to 5 minute walk to the terminal.
Finally, for those not wishing to spend money on long term parking, there is the rapid drop off and pick up zone.
The facility for dropping off passengers is free for up to 5 minutes. After that point, it will cost £3 for every 10 minutes. Please note that you should not leave your vehicle unattended in this zone as there is the possibility of it being towed.
The pick-up zone will cost you £1 for the first 10 minutes. The next 10 minutes will cost you another £1 on top of that. If you stay for up to an hour, it is £5, and for every 24 hours that you leave your vehicle there, it is £50.00.
Alternatively, there is a pick up and drop off area in the Long Stay parking lot. This is free for 20 minutes, however the passenger will need to walk the 5 minutes to the airport terminal. In addition, there is a special assistance vehicle for passengers with reduced mobility.
